Hotel Johzenji, a gem in the heart of Aoba Ward, pleasantly surprised me with its excellent service and value. The staff, notably Abe-san, went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, offering helpful tips for local dining spots and attractions. The room, equipped with modern amenities like a water kettle and well-placed lights, provided a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring the city.Despite a minor inconvenience of being slightly distant from Sendai Station, the hotel's proximity to a subway station made transportation a breeze. The location, near popular tourist spots and with easy access to public transport, added to the convenience of the stay.The clean and comfortable room, overlooking the vibrant street below, offered a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. The bathroom, though compact, had all the necessary essentials. An unexpected highlight was the peaceful ambiance of the interiors, making it a haven for relaxation.Hotel Johzenji's attention to detail and thoughtful touches, combined with its affordable rates, make it a top choice for travelers seeking a pleasant stay in Sendai.
